SAT is an abbreviation of Scholastic Aptitude Test initially and Scholastic Assessment Test finally. The main purpose behind taking the test is to check the eligibility of the students for getting admitted to undergraduate programs or universities. Scoring in this test is done in a range of 400-1600. This test evaluates the writing, critical reading and mathematical expertise of students. The duration of the test is three hours and is undertaken 7 times a year.
